Civic Center Rental Information

The Civic Center is being managed by the City of Zillah now. We've created an online calendar that is accessible to the public to show whether or not the facility is available. We also have the fees and rental application below. Next, we are working to make this application and payment process completely digital, but we're not there yet. In the meantime, please check out the online calendar below, find the date and time you are interested in renting, fill out the application, and bring it to City Hall where our team will be glad to assist you in confirming the reservation with your paid deposit.

Frequently Asked Questions 

Question: Do I have to have insurance to protect myself and/or my organization from liability and any damages?
Answer: Yes, each renting entity (individual or organization) must have a liability policy, as specified in #10 on pages 3-4 of the rental agreement. The insurance for the Civic Center does protect or cover the individual or organization renting the facility. 

Question: Where can I get insurance for my specific event/meeting, or series of events/meetings? 
We encourage anyone to work with their own insurance company or a local insurance company here in Zillah, some of which are listed on the Chamber of Commerce's Membership Directory. You can also secure insurance protection online at GatherGuard by taking the following steps:

    • Click on 'Get a Quote.'
    • Select what type of event you'll be having.
    • Search for a venue by typing "Zillah Civic Center" under "Where will the event take place?" 
    • Review the coverage you need.
    • Add details about your event and the frequency of occurrence(s). There are options to customize whether it's a one-time, weekly, or customizable recurring event.
    • Answer additional questions and click "Checkout."
    • Finalize information about you or your organization, enter your payment information, and submit proof of insurance along with your rental application.

Two Security personnel are required for all events with alcohol, with a minimum of 6 hours each. Crowds over 200 may require additional security personnel.

Holding Fee and Payment Deadlines:
A prospective renter may reserve a date and schedule up to one year in advance by making a $250 deposit and signing a contract to save the date. The deposit will be credited towards the final rental cost. The $250 holding fee will be forfeited if the event is canceled. One-half of the rental fee must be paid thirty (30) days before the event, accompanied by a signed and dated rental contract. The rental, security, and any other required fees must be paid no later than fourteen (14) days before the scheduled event. A copy of the signed contract will be the renter’s proof of payment and the secured reservation.
